About QSuper

Overseeing QSuper Limited is the Executive Committee, consisting of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.

Each member of the Executive is responsible for a group of functional activities and the funds it administers.

Executive Committee

Chief Executive Officer
Rosemary Vilgan

Rosemary Vilgan is the Chief Executive Officer of QSuper Limited, the Executive Officer of the QSuper Fund, and Chief Executive Officer of the Board.

In her role as Chief Executive Officer of QSuper Limited, Rosemary oversees the Queensland Government’s superannuation program involving assets in excess of $40 billion for over 470,000 members.

 


Chief Strategy Officer
Helen Davis

Develops and drives the strategic direction of QSuper by formulating and implementing the strategic plan to achieve the directions set by the QSuper Board.

Provides better knowledge and solid returns to members through guiding policy setting, amending legislation, marketing communications, and leading investment direction.

Liaises with and supports QSuper partners and stakeholders.
Chief Operating Officer
Helen Coyer

Leads and promotes real service and better knowledge to members.

Provides a broad range of member contact services, insurance services, and account administration services.

Monitors current operation of service standards to implement efficiencies and effectiveness where appropriate.
Chief Financial Officer
Cliff Kaye

Leads, manages, and monitors the financial operations, change programs, and resource management within QSuper for both internal and external stakeholders. This assists in the provision of low fees to members.

Financial and statutory reporting, budgets and cash flow management, management of Fund reserves, and the maintenance and support of all information systems across QSuper.

General Manager

Fund Development manages product development and research, as well as provides marketing strategy services for QSuper.
Member Services
Bronwyn Friend
General Manager

Member Services is a one-stop-shop for members, providing information and education by phone, email, letters, publications, and over 700 seminars per year.

Finance
Peter Lockington
General Manager

Finance provides fund and corporate information and advice for QSuper and QSuper Limited that includes taxation, accounting, corporate administration, and a secretariat function.
Risk and Compliance
Maria Dalton
General Manager

Risk and Compliance ensures that at all levels in the business, people are aware of and take responsibility for meeting compliance obligations, and have enough information to make informed, risk-based decisions.

Operations
David Wood
General Manager

Operations manages QSuper's core administrative tasks, including member record maintenance, benefits payments, and control of funds received from employers.
Information Communication Technology
Baden Sharples
General Manager

Information, Communication & Technology provides IT strategic planning and technical advice, and develops and supports QSuper's information systems.
Investment Services



Investment Services provides technical and strategic advice with regard to the investment of superannuation and associated monies.
Insurance Management
Barry Cook

Insurance Management provides a complete medical claim assessment service for the QSuper Board, to manage and administer insurance claims.

Human Resources

Human Resources provides high-level stategic and tactical HR support to the business of QSuper.
Strategy
Paul Smith
General Manager

Strategy supports the Executive Committee and QSuper Board in the development and implementation of the strategic plan, including monitoring and reporting on the strategic objectives set by the QSuper Board.
Technical Services
Lyn Melcer
General Manager

Technical Services provides advice on the operations of QSuper's governing rules to internal and external stakeholders, including providing policy advice to government on superannuation arrangements for State public sector employees.
