To capture the return of a broadly diversified portfolio of global fixed interest investments, after fees and tax.

Fixed interest investments have less risk than growth assets, such as shares and property, but can also have periods of fluctuation and negative returns.

The major fixed interest investments include government, semi-government, and corporate debt.

Negative return expected one year in every eleven years.

Crediting rates differ from net returns due to a slight delay in unit prices reflecting the value of the underlying assets. Crediting rates are the returns that are applied daily to members' accounts. The crediting rates quoted for a given period apply to members who have remained in the option/s for the entire period and made no transactions.
