Our environment

QSuper – Queensland’s largest superannuation fund – is one of the top performing schemes in Australia, managing in excess of $24 billion in funds. QSuper Limited manages QSuper on behalf of the Queensland Government, the QSuper Board of Trustees, and members.

Our achievements

We are very proud of our fund and our employees. Here are a few reasons why:

  • In 2007 alone, we were awarded a platinum award from independent ratings company SuperRatings, as well as a gold and silver award at the Conference of Major Superannuation Funds communication awards.
  • Our Chief Executive Officer, Rosemary Vilgan, is the current Chair of leading industry body ASFA.
  • In January 2006, the QSuper Contact Centre was awarded the Treasury Australia Day Award in recognition for excellence in service delivery, commitment to professionalism, and ensuring the highest quality client service to QSuper members.

Our development opportunities

Staff development is key to the success of any company and is something we take very seriously at QSuper. Management and leadership development programs, targeted at middle and senior managers, focus on developing desirable leadership qualities aligned with the corporate values and strategic direction of QSuper. Employees are also encouraged to study and achieve superannuation specific qualifications through the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia. Study assistance programs are also available. Mentoring and networking programs offer employees opportunities to learn and grow within the organisation.

Our work/life balance

QSuper offers a range of programs and services designed to help employees better balance their work and life responsibilities. These include strategies such as flexible work hours (including access to accrued days off), part-time work, job-sharing, purchased leave, access to a corporate health program, employee assistance service and social club.
